Chamber Celebrates Crystal Brown’s Retirement After 14 Years of Service

Chamber members, community partners, friends and colleagues gathered on July 31 to celebrate President & CEO Crystal Brown on her final day with the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce as she began her retirement after more than 14 years of dedicated service.

Crystal joined the Chamber staff in 2012 and had served as President & CEO since July 2021. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in advancing the Chamber’s mission through strategic partnerships, business advocacy, workforce and education initiatives and long-range community planning.

Throughout her career, Crystal was known for her servant leadership, dedication to the community and ability to bring people together around shared goals. Her leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact on the Chamber, Decatur-Morgan County and the state.

The July 31 celebration provided an opportunity to recognize Crystal’s career, thank her for her years of service and wish her well as she begins this next chapter.

Reggie Ash began serving as the Chamber’s new President & CEO on July 27.
