Public Invited to Review Draft 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan

The Decatur Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is inviting residents, businesses and community stakeholders to review and provide feedback on the Draft 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan, which will help guide transportation improvements and the use of federal highway and transit funding throughout the Decatur metropolitan area over the next 25 years.

The draft plan includes an overview of the current transportation system, improvement strategies, future project listings and maps. Public input is an important part of the planning process, and the comment period will remain open through Friday, August 7.

Community members are encouraged to attend one of two public meetings to learn more about the plan, ask questions and share feedback with MPO staff.
