Emerging Leaders Event Focuses on Workplace Safety

Deputy Chief Eric Stisher with the Decatur Police Department led the Chamber’s Emerging Leaders event on August 6, focusing on the Run, Hide, Fight response to active threats.

Participants learned techniques for situational awareness and personal safety. Stisher, a certified trainer with more than 20 years of law enforcement experience, also served 27 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, retiring as a First Sergeant after four combat tours.
