Emerging Leaders Tour STEAM Imagination Center

We had a great turnout at our Emerging Leaders event on June 4 at the new STEAM Imagination Center in downtown Decatur. As part of the Alabama Center for the Arts, the center is a cutting-edge facility blending science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) to prepare students for high-demand careers.

Attendees toured the newly renovated space, which features fabrication labs, 3D printing, digital design and video game production — all designed to foster creativity and innovation. The newly renovated facility is a significant step forward for workforce development in North Alabama. The STEAM Imagination Center is expected to serve approximately 75 students annually, with future growth as new programs are introduced.
