Total Resource Campaign

The Total Resource Campaign (TRC) is an eight-week campaign in the fall during which Chamber members volunteer their time to help market sponsorship opportunities and recruit new members. The TRC is the only time the Chamber offers sponsorship opportunities to Chamber members, allowing businesses to plan their marketing budget and making them aware of Chamber programs for the coming calendar year. In addition to increasing non-dues funding, the TRC allows members to get involved with the Chamber and network with other business owners and professionals.

The annual TRC gives Chamber members the ability to promote their business during Chamber events, with more than 900 diverse sponsorship opportunities available. Sponsorships range from $100 to $5,000. Companies choosing to sponsor an event are given a “right of first renewal” and the opportunity to renew their sponsorships during the first two weeks of the campaign. For more information about the TRC, contact Member Engagement & Workforce Manager Maddison Kendrick at 256-353-5312 or maddison@dcc.org.

Connect26

The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its 22nd Total Resource Campaign (TRC), which connects local businesses with marketing opportunities designed to reach their target audiences in 2027. This year’s volunteer-led initiative, Connect26, is chaired by Jason Palmer with Jason Palmer State Farm Insurance Agency.

“As a longtime Chamber member, I have seen firsthand how the Chamber brings businesses together and creates opportunities for them to grow,” Palmer said. “I am excited to lead Connect26 and work alongside our volunteers to help members identify sponsorship and marketing opportunities that align with their goals.”

Through the TRC, businesses of all sizes can select opportunities that increase their visibility through Chamber programs, events and initiatives.

“The Total Resource Campaign allows us to better understand the goals of our members and connect them with opportunities that meet their needs,” said Chamber President & CEO Reggie Ash. “It also gives our volunteers the opportunity to build relationships with other members and strengthen their own business networks. That is what makes this campaign beneficial for everyone involved.”

Chamber Board Chairwoman Cindy Smith, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, also emphasized the campaign’s value for small businesses.

“The TRC provides businesses with a variety of ways to increase their visibility and develop meaningful connections within the community,” Smith said. “With opportunities available at different investment levels, members can choose the options that make the most sense for their business.”

Approximately 25 volunteers from businesses throughout the community are partnering with the Chamber to make this TRC successful. Last year’s campaign set a record as the largest TRC in the Chamber’s history.

The renewal period for businesses that sponsored Chamber events during the 2026 calendar year runs from September 15 through October 2. The campaign is open to all Chamber members from October 5 through November 4.
