Chamber Commodores Tour Point Mallard Event Center

The Chamber’s Commodores gathered on August 14 at the newly renovated Point Mallard Event Center for their monthly meeting. Stephanie McLain and Skylar Mills led the group on a tour of the facility, giving Commodores an opportunity to learn more about what the Event Center has to offer the community.

The Commodores also heard from Chamber President & CEO Reggie Ash, who shared more about his background, priorities for his first 90 days and what he has learned during his first few weeks in the role.

Congratulations to Matt Wisner with United Community Bank who was recognized as the August Commodore of the Month during the meeting.

The Chamber’s Commodores are a group of approximately 50 professionals who serve as ambassadors for the Chamber. They welcome and mentor new members, help build membership, attend ribbon cuttings and raise awareness of Chamber programs and benefits throughout Decatur-Morgan County. The Chamber Commodore Program is presented by Redstone Federal Credit Union.
