Chamber Members Save More Than $44,000 Through Athens State Tuition Partnership

Employees of Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce member businesses and their immediate families have access to a 10% tuition discount at Athens State University through the Chamber's learning partnership with the university.

Since the partnership began in August 2023, Chamber members have submitted 126 discount forms and received more than $44,000 in tuition savings.

The savings continue to make an impact for Chamber members and their families. From Fall 2025 through Summer 2026 alone, 45 discount forms were submitted, resulting in $14,685 in tuition discounts.

The partnership is one of the many benefits available to employees of the Chamber's more than 800 member businesses and provides an opportunity to pursue higher education while reducing the cost of tuition.
