Chamber and Calhoun Host Third Annual Healthcare Education Camp

The Chamber partnered with Calhoun Community College June 16–17 to host the third annual Healthcare Education Camp, a two-day, hands-on experience introducing students to career opportunities in the healthcare industry.

This year’s camp welcomed 23 students in grades 9–12 and provided an inside look at all nine programs within Calhoun’s Health Sciences Division. Students participated in interactive sessions, toured the Decatur and Huntsville campuses and connected with instructors and industry professionals while exploring future career pathways.

The Chamber and Calhoun will continue their summer programming the week of June 22-26 with two Cyber Security Camps designed to introduce students to the fast-growing field of information security.
