Applications Open for Love Where You Launch Grant Award
The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the Love Where You Launch Grant Award, a new initiative designed to support small businesses and startups across Morgan County.
The grant will award $2,000 to one business to fund a defined project that drives growth, enhances customer engagement, and increases business visibility. This opportunity is intended to encourage fresh ideas, strategic expansion and innovative approaches that strengthen the local business community and contribute to economic growth.
Small business owners and entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply if they are ready to take the next step—whether launching a new offering, expanding services, enhancing their space or improving customer experience.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a current Chamber member or join prior to the application deadline on Monday, April 13
- Operate within Morgan County
- Generate $500,000 or less in annual revenue, or be a startup/pre-revenue business
Grant Details:
- One recipient will receive a total of $2,000
- $1,000 will be awarded upon selection
- $1,000 will be awarded upon completion of the approved project
- Projects must be completed within 12 months of the award date
- The recipient will be recognized during the Chamber’s Small Business Awards Celebration on May 13

Applications will be evaluated based on project impact, clarity and feasibility, use of funds, innovation and overall business readiness. Applicants will be asked to outline their proposed project, provide a simple budget and explain how the investment will support business growth.
