Describe your organization, including the history and services you provide.
"River City Electric is a full-service electrical contractor based locally in Decatur, Alabama, proudly serving North Alabama for over a decade. Founded with a commitment to quality workmanship and integrity, we provide industrial, commercial, and residential electrical services. Our team handles everything from service and maintenance to large-scale electrical installations, with the experience and flexibility to meet the needs of a wide range of clients. As we approach our 11th anniversary, we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built for safety, reliability, and quality which produces long-term partnerships."
What makes your organization stand out?
"Safety first-always, but it’s our culture that really sets us apart. We are a growing small business with a big mindset. We believe that how we service our customers matters. Our employees are an extension of family. We invest intentionally in building a diverse and respectful team environment. Because we are multi-faceted and work across multiple disciplines, our crews are often spread out on different job sites. To stay connected, we host quarterly team-building activities that bring everyone together to strengthen camaraderie, attitudes, and mutual respect. That intentional focus on people shows up in the quality of our work."
How has your organization changed in the last few years?
"While we continue to be a full-service electrical contractor, our focus has shifted more heavily toward industrial projects. With the significant economic growth happening in Morgan County, we’re already seeing increased demand in the industrial sector, and we’re strategically positioning our team and resources to support that growth while maintaining excellence across all service areas."
Describe an exciting recent highlight for your organization.
"One of our most exciting recent highlights has been working on projects supporting agriculture, aerospace, medical facilities, and manufacturing operations. These projects reflect both the economic momentum in our region and our team’s ability to meet the high standards required in critical, high-performance environments in a timely manner."
