Leissa Hill, Vice President of Finance & Operations, CFO to Retire

After 34 years of dedicated service, the Decatur-Morgan Chamber of Commerce announces the upcoming retirement of our Vice President of Finance & Operations, CFO, Leissa Hill. Her last day will be Friday, February 27.

Leissa has been a vital part of our team and her commitment to excellence, her institutional knowledge and professionalism have been invaluable to our organization and the members we serve. She has played an essential role in strengthening the Chamber’s financial health and operations while supporting the growth of our business community.

Leissa’s impact extends well beyond her daily Chamber responsibilities. As a dedicated volunteer in our community, she has served in leadership positions with Kiwanis Club of Decatur, the Alabama Chambers Board of Directors and the Community Foundation of Greater Decatur.

We want to express our profound gratitude for her extraordinary tenure and the legacy she leaves.

As we prepare for this transition, the Chamber will begin an immediate search for our next Chief Financial Officer to ensure a smooth and seamless handoff of responsibilities.
