Taura Denmon Named Commodore of the Month for July

The Chamber’s Commodores had a great time at their meeting on July 11 at the new Jimmy Johns Pickleball Center at Point Mallard Park! Fellow Commodore Bobby Peavler gave an intro to the sport, and the group even played a few rounds together.

Congratulations to Taura Denmon, Executive Director of the Decatur Housing Authority, for being named the Greater Morgan County Builders Association Commodore of the Month for July!

This group of 50 professionals volunteer their time and expertise to welcome and mentor new members, increase Chamber membership and raise community awareness of Chamber programs and benefits. The Commodore program is presented by Redstone Federal Credit Union.
