Applications Open for the Chamber’s Excellence in Leadership Program

Applications are now open for the Chamber's Excellence in Leadership program for the 2024-2025 year. Excellence is an interactive program that provides skill development and community experiences to help participants grow personally and professionally as they explore the Decatur-Morgan County area.

As the flagship initiative of the Chamber's leadership series, Excellence in Leadership began in 1987 to help develop and network existing and emerging leaders to create community awareness and encourage community involvement.

Kick-off for the program is set for late August. Sessions are one day a month for 10 months and conclude with a "graduation" luncheon in mid-May. All applicants must be a Chamber member or work for a company that is a Chamber member. The deadline for submission is Friday, July 19. Please consider this program for yourself or someone in your workforce. Excellence in Leadership is presented by Nucor Steel Decatur
