Chamber Welcomes Secretary of State on Decatur Small Business Tour

Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen visited Decatur on January 11 to engage with the local business community, a commitment he upholds across the state. The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce had the honor of hosting Secretary Allen as he toured seven small businesses.

During his visit, Secretary Allen spent time getting to know business owners and their employees, providing his contact information should they need assistance in the future. The visit also served as an opportunity for Secretary Allen to gather feedback on how his office can enhance and streamline processes within their business entities division.

“We did receive a few suggestions for our website, and it was really good to hear that feedback. We’re going to go back and talk to our team to see if we can make improvements,” said Secretary Allen.

The tour brought attention to the growth and development happening in downtown Decatur and throughout Morgan County. The Chamber would like to thank Secretary Allen for his efforts to make a positive impact on the business landscape, and we look forward to continued partnerships that promote the prosperity of local businesses.
