Chamber to launch Total Resource Campaign in late September, offering marketing opportunities to the business community for 2022
The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce is preparing to launch its annual Total Resource Campaign (TRC), a seven-week volunteer led initiative where all Chamber members have a limited time to secure marketing opportunities across the wide range of Chamber audiences to help meet member business marketing goals for the 2022 calendar year.
Kelli Powers, president of Decatur Morgan Hospital, will lead the TRC for 2021. “Having been part of the Decatur-Morgan County business community since August 2020, it quickly became clear to me through their program of work how the Chamber is striving to grow our regional business environment and provide a healthy climate for individual businesses,” said Powers. “2020 and 2021 have been chaotic for business, but the economy is improving and companies are seeing success. We want to provide even more exposure and growth opportunities for our local businesses, and I’m honored to be part of this work.”
In explaining the TRC, which kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 28, Chamber President and CEO Crystal Brown said “Over the next two months, Chamber members will have increased marketing opportunities that offer additional target audience exposure. Members will experience a greater return on investment by securing high profile visibility in the community through diverse Chamber programs and initiatives while growing their business.”
In the coming weeks, TRC volunteers – made up of community leaders - will be contacting local businesses about opportunities that best match their needs. For more information about TRC or to serve as a volunteer team member, please call Chamber CFO and TRC Coordinator Denice Marco at (256) 353-5312.
