The 10th Annual Diversity Awards Celebration presented by Nucor Steel was held on September 25. This year's keynote address was given by Dr. Gwen Boyd of Johns Hopkins University, followed by award presentations. The Diversity Development Committee honored the following recipients for this year's awards: Ms. Billie Dean Stewart (Community Involvement Award), Mr. Jack Lokey of Mary Burke Florist (Longevity Award), Mr. Roy Williams on behalf of Williams Books and Church Supplies (Perseverance Award), and Daikin America, Inc. (Venessa Edmonds Champion of Diversity Award).

The Diversity program ensures that every member of the community has access to the knowledge and skills to succeed in the workplace.
